Default Battery Swap part 2

How critical is resetting the "ADAPTIVE MEMORY" after replacing the battery? Is there an owner operator 1,2,3 procedure that can be accomplished without computerized equipment?

Some memory is cleared when the battery is unhooked for 10-15 minutes. It really isn't critical unless you have a computer module malfunctioning, this reset can help sometimes. Depending on how fast you were, you may have already cleared it.

I swapped mine without any extra equipment and had no issues. If you get a optima be advised they are slightly smaller than the stock battery. I had to insert a sleeve around the optima to keep it tight.

Speculating on a possible answer to a question that can not be answered with the given information is futile. WHAT DO YOU DRIVE?!?!?!?!?!?!? Year/make/model/engine/trim level/etc................
