Default Factory Backup Camera Taking On Water

I went to park my truck yesterday and I noticed on the screen that there was water rolling around the inside on the camera. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Thanks,
Ryan

I assume you verified it wasn't on the outside? All of them get water / slush on them as you drive, I keep a rag inside my door pocket to wipe it off.

I did not wipe it off last night. I will check it again when I get home and wipe it off and see if that makes a difference.

My camera really sucks compared to my wife's expedition.

We have a direct aftermarket replacement camera so if yours doesn't dry out you can easily replace it. Also, our camera is much clearer than the factory camera so you can fix that problem too:

Someone on this forum did a really nice writeup on our replacement module because he had the same clarity issue. He decided to replace it and posted a very detailed description of the entire process with photos here:

Give a call if you have questions.

Thanks!
