Looking for some info on how the different grades ride and your results with them.

So I am installing this BDS 4" lift into my truck soon and am looking into replacement 4" lift struts. The only ones I have found aside from raptor take offs or $2500 raptor replacements are the rancho series of struts.

Specifically they make a 4" lift version.

RS5806- 5000 series
RS7806- 7000 series
RS999806- 9000xl series adjustable

Anyone with comparisons or Pro's/ cons from one to another?

I will be picking one of these.

use only a monotube shock, MT7000-9000 stay away from the 5000 series dual piston shock, no better than the factory. I am running the 7000 series on my F150 and ran them on my Tacoma too. Bilstein 5100s are monotube, single piston shocks.

I had the adjustable on my last truck. It was pretty nice to soften up the ride and then stiffen it while towing.

Do the 7000's run much rougher up front than the factory set up? Jason at stage3 says the may be stiffer but Better off Road. Looking for that real world use though.

I'm running Rancho 7000s on all 4 corners and they are a little stiffer but to me it feels like the truck is more controlled. Less roll in corners. And the ones I got also raise the front 2" so my truck is now level.

I have the RS9000XL on my truck from when I did their 4" lift. I like them and being able to adjust them based on needs or individual comfort levels. I tried them soft but it felt like a boat on the interstate sometimes, so I bumped up the stiffness until I was happy with the ride.
