Soy based foam seats
From what I understand, Ford went to a soy based foam for the seats in the F-150, starting in 2009? This stuff isn't worth a flip! The most uncomfortable seat cushion I have ever had. Can anyone confirm if this is true? If so, I am either going to have a shop build a cushion from scratch OR find a cushion out of a earlier F-150 and have a shop fit it to my truck OR buy a Dodge! I've never been a Dodge person but if nothing else they have always been known for their comfortable seats. I like my Ford but can't sit in it more than 30 min without hurting. Have some friends that have the same complaint.
Drove my wife's Edge to Colorado and back with no problems...I am retired and drive a school bus part time...no problems BUT 30 min in my 2010 F-150 and I'm done.
