I had the same problem with my 2012 the wipers would not stop. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the wiper **** handle for free I guess its a common defect.

^^THis
It's a high tech fix for something that wasn't really broken and just adds to the list of parts that can/will be broken. Think retractable side steps minus the tech.

I turned mine off and forgot they ever existed. Just like the auto highbeam in my wife's Toyota, it never works well in practice.

Look at where the sensor is. Check to see if there are bubbles or is it completely clear. You might have to remove the sensor from the windshield and go to advance auto buy some windshield silicone and replace the old silicone with new. Very simple remove the plastic and there should be a metal bracket holding on the sensor to windshield. pop that off and remove the sensor. Clean the area, the old silicone will pull off and remove from the front of the sensor. hold the sensor and apply the new silicone on the sensor, make sure to put a good amount of silicone. when you apply the sensor to windshield just push it in clip the metal clip back. make sure not pull it back down. make sure all bubbles are out of the silicone, it should look clear plug it back in and put the cap back on. Should be good has new.

I put Collonite 845 on my windshield, now the rain slides right off without the wipers if I'm going above 20mph

The low and high speed settings work fine, but intermittent/sensitivity settings do not. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Just got my truck 2 weeks ago, mine is doing the same thing. Hoping I would have the truck a while before I had to come search for something on here! Thanks for the info. Guess I will unplug and control the wipers old school.

Previous owner probably installed a windshield that is not compatible with the rain sensing system.

I think it's a great feature. I've never touched my wiper setting when driving for 12+ hours at a time.

Got 'em on my Platinum. Like my dear old Dad used to say, they're useless as **** on a boar hog.

OP, you should have the one wipe option if you pull the wiper leaver down, I think. Had my truck for three years, and haven't even tried. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I chose to leave it alone and have normal wipers.

So if you unplug the sensor is the only thing affected the wipers?
