Default Weird thing my truck did today.

So I stopped to get gas today after work and when I got back in, I turned the key on to write down my mileage, and then started my truck. After I started it up, I noticed my check engine light was on. I looked in my side mirror and saw that I left the gas door open, so I stepped out and closed it. I got back in and pressed the brake pedal to shift into drive and the pedal was as hard as a diamond in an ice storm... I shifted into drive and let it roll a couple feet, then tried to press the pedal again, and it was still extremely hard and didn't want to stop the truck. Once I stopped, I shifted back into park, shut the truck off, and waited a moment before starting it back up. After I started it back up, everything was back to normal. Has anyone else experienced this? For reference, my truck is an 09 XL single cab with 2v 4.6 engine.

I didn't realize a diamond was harder in an ice storm ;-)

My 09 always wants to go to Wing Daddy's on Saturday afternoon. Has a mind of it's own.

Could be the RSC/ABS relay not switching. If the RSC/ABS fuse/relay doesn't work the power brakes are disabled.

Have you checked to see if you have 30 weight ball bearings? It's all ball bearings nowadays. Also, what about your antifreeze, Prestone or Quakerstate?
