question on service performed at dealer
HI, I just took my 09 F-150 in for the 1st oil change yesterday and this morning looking over the description of service and parts I have 5 items listed. The first 4 are the oil change, tire rotation etc. The last item says 8080 : kit radiator repair - side tank. Any idea what that means? Did I have a leak already and they just patched it? Thanks.

I would call to clarify. It is possible that it is something that Ford has acknowledged as a potential for concern later on down the road so they are paying the dealer to install them as a "pre-emptive strike" on a warranty repair later on down the road.
It is also possible that the part was put on that RO (repair order) on accident by the parts counter dude.

That makes sense, yeah maybe it was preventive measures for down the line, thanks. I will give the dealer a call Monday and find out and post whatever I hear.
