Default Putting 2015 wheels on a 2011. Swapping TPMS questio

This is a little confusing, but bear with me...
I have a 2011 FX4 with stock 18" wheels on it...these wheels came off my 2013 that I put aftermarket wheels on. The TPMS reset on the 2011 just fine with the 2013 wheels.

Today I bought a new set of take offs from a 2015 XLT Sport that I want to put on my 2011, but I know the TPMS is deferent. I still have the original wheels from the 2011 (in storage) and was hoping I could take the TPMS out of those wheels and put them into the 2015 wheels. Is this possible?

If that all works I will have the wheels from the 2011 (which originally came off my 2013) just laying around...sooooo...I want to put those ones on my 2010 since the original wheels on the 2010 are looking old. Will the 2013 wheels sync with the 2010?

So in the end I will have the following set ups...
- 2010 with wheels from a 2013
- 2011 with wheels from a 2015 and sensors from the original 2011 wheels
- 2013 with aftermarket wheels (unchanged)

I am having a hard time deciding between putting the 2015 wheels on the 2010 FX4 (black), or 2011 FX4 (red). Thoughts...

I know you shouldn't have problems with switching the 2011 tpms to the 2015 and I don't think there should be any problem moving the 2013's to the 2010.
As far as which truck to put them on. I personally think they look better on the red truck.

Sounds to me like you'll be able to do everything you want to do. As long as 2015 tpms's and lugnuts don't touch pre-2015 trucks you're fine.
And those rims look great on 09-14's no matter what color it is.

+1 on the red truck.

I have the same wheels on my white 2014 and was hesitant after seeing them on a 2015 as they looked sunken on a new truck. However, they look great on the older trucks which tolerate a higher offset better.

Like everyone else said, your sensor swapping will work just fine, the lug nuts from the '15 will not. That's a great looking wheel on either truck but I'll give the red one another vote.
I've got a set of the new 20" sport wheels on my '12. It all worked out great.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I will put the new wheels on the red truck and black out the chrome boards...not sure why an FX4 has chrome running boards.

All Fords recent wheels have the same offset.

Default Swapping out 2007 XL wheels for new 2016 take offs

Wondering if anyone could advise me? I have a 2007 f50 xl 17" wheels, wanting to buy someones 2016 f150 17" new take offs, will they fit? can i use the sensors that come with the new wheels he has left on or will i have to change to the old ones or anything else that i need to consider? I just have no idea what I'm getting into and don't have a big budget to have a lot done. Thanks

A potential issue from using 2011 model year (2010 calendar year) TPMS sensors is battery longevity. What is the typical batter life for a TPMS? I've seen five years posted. I'm uncertain of the official lifespan specification for a TPMS.

The 2007 used the 6x135 bolt pattern that's still continues to be used today on the '16 models. You will likely need to locate new TPMS for the '15 wheels. Ford made a change in the frequency of the sensor in the '15 and newer trucks that is incompatible with the '09-'14 trucks. Speculating the '15 sensors aren't compatible on the '04-'08 trucks as well.

I found TPMS for mine around $80 a pop to give you an idea of cost.
