Default Put 2013 F150 Truck in neutral with battery dead

HI, my 2013 F150 I left the running lights on last night and this morning the battery was dead. I have to pull all the way in the garage so I cannot open the hood to jump it. How do I get it in neutral with no battery. Desparate.

I haven't actually done this myself on a ford, but most of the times you simply put the key in the ignition, turn it to II(the position where the air would turn on but not start the truck) , even though you don't have power, then apply the brake and shift into neutral.

Ok so I just went out to try and did not work. Since it is a 2013 I believe I need to get some charge into the vehicle so I can get the brake lights to engage and let it allow the shifter to move. Ugg so frustrating. Is there a way to charge the battery minimal through the cigarette lighter?

If you 12v power port is constant and not just on with the ignition, you can do it that way for sure.

I use to work at Matco Tools and I developed a power pack that would jump your vehicle. "MINIJUMP" and I was going to use that to jump my truck until I could not get the hood all the way up. So I just plugged it into the 12V "Always on" plug and wait an see. Thank you so much.

Put a floor jack under the rear end and push it out far enough to get the hood open.
