Thanks for the video! Be careful asking if anyone would like to see more videos because I say YES MORE lol Seriously, any more videos and pictures would be much appreciated as I am thinking about this kit.

2 Questions for you:
1. I assume it is more "poppy" sounding when you rev it because it is a cold start? That probably mellows out?
2. Did the tune change the tone of the exhaust some? Did you get the tune after the exhaust?

1) that was a warm start. And the exhaust sounds poppy when u get off because of the back pressure. It basically sounds like a mustang when you downshift manually because you get the awesome engine brake sound.

2) the tune DID NOT change the tone, and I had the exhaust for about 6 months before tuner. The exhaust gradually got louder in the past months. When I first started up after install I was worried about how quiet it was. But now it rumbles deep on idle and regular driving, while screaming when you get on it.

Bottom line, if your concerned about the "poppy"
Sound, don't because most exhaust will give u that with this motor. The quality of this kit is top notch. I will take some pics of all the pipes and muffler later today to show how they lasted the winter.

Thanks TMurphy11. From my older mustang that I had, on a cold start the pipes would pop a few times until the exhaust seemed to warm up some. I was under the impression that this would be the same with all kits. So you get that poppy sound always? I'd love to hear more videos if you ever get time. A cruise video where you let off the gas some and an acceleration video would be great. Thanks for your help. You didn't get the kit with the black tips I see? I am really wanting the black tips option.

I can do the acceleration video no prob. The pop I can't do myself, that's just random on downshifts into high rpm. The popping only happens when the trucks not actually moving l, just revving. The downshift " pop" is just the engine braking, which is normal. When leaning into it or ripping, the sound is smoooth and a deep raspy noise. It's like no other, DO NOT let the popping discourage you if that's not what u want. I will go pro a video later with it attached to quarter pannel by exhaust. As well as maybe getting a friend to do a flyby video

Not trying to rush you at all, but might pull the trigger on this kit in like 24 hours or less lol If you get the videos up that would be AWESOME

I had the mbrp XP kit originally and was immediately disappointed so I sold it and got the Corsa db 24393 and couldn't be happier. Yes it is mild but was perfect for me. Good quality sound and absolutely no drone. Plus it seems to be getting throatier now that its breaking in. And if you absolutely want it be more aggressive you could delete the resonator but I'm happy with it just the way it is. I didn't think the sport exhaust was any louder. I thought the only difference was the better quality stainless tubing (304 vs 409) and a dual tip but I could be wrong. The dual tip is 150 on summit if you decided on the DB but wanted to add the tip, which I may do. I bought mine from autoanything. Had them price match with another site and I think they're still offering a mail in rebate for the Corsa kits. So in the end I paid 480 for the DB, which is the best price you'll find. The rebate is valid for the sport version as well.
