Cool Pulled An Ice Fishing Shack Down The Street

Happened on the weekend, had to get it from somebody's house and take it to the lake. The thing has a tow bar and was on ski's. It only weighs about 250 pounds but it still looked pretty funny going down the road!

How's the 5.0 pull with the 3.31's? Would you feel comfortable pulling a normal-sized bass boat?

Just curious.

Nice truck and funny picture.

CDC, that's just too cool. Something you would never see here in the Southern states of the U.S.

Haha no 2 adults can sit inside it and fish, theres a bench and a propane heater and its insulated, its pretty cool. We do have another one that you can stand up in but you more or less want to keep them light and compact cause they sit on the ice.

I'd feel comfortable for sure, I think its rated for close to 8000lbs with the 3.31 rear end. I think it would so just fine with a full size bass boat behind it.

Those are really cool! I've never seen someone use anything like that around here. We tend to stick to our little home maid huts haha

They arent exactly cheap, but they are multi purpose, can haul atvs and whatnot, can use it for a camper or an ice house. Pretty cool units for sure.

That is hilarious! I have never even heard of these before (forgive my ignorance, it has been 70 degrees in Houston the past few days).

How does it work? The house has holes in the floor and you somehow cut the ice thru the holes?

I cannot imagine what it is like catching a fish inside a house! The best part of fishing to me is being outdoors. That being said, I might reconsider if it was 30 below zero outside.

Yup. You use an ice auger (Lazer, or strikemaster) and drill through the ice and then fish through the hole.
