Great to see. I think your truck RNL putting out 40 from the vents I could live with. Our Suburbans at work put out 35 -38 at the vents consistently. That would be even better.

The PCM controls compressor operation, only when I took control of it away from the pcm did I get meat locker temps.

Pretty sure the pcm programming needs the change.

It's possible. But say you could keep the pressures low due to expansion valve keeping the high side down, it would act the same as keeping the compressor engaged for longer, without having to do a bunch of VOID warranty set ups, or going stephen hawkings' on our CPU's

Yeah I'm comfortable with what I get as well but with so many people complaining, I had to dig in and see if the system was anemic like others claim and found that the system is very much capable.

A constant 40 would be a welcomed site and a start! instead of 44-48!

LOL on the SH reference, There's the grab, I made my system go into deep freeze mode using the oem system (with more Freon), no change to anything other than compressor operation using my laptop and IDS.

Right, but you know FoMoCo frowns heavily on any kind of messin with their techknowledgy. Any rewrite or flash is hard stored on the CPU. An expansion valve they would never know about, unless mic'd.

So we either need the hack resistor fixed or an adjustable TXV!

Is an adjustable TXV available?
