There was no mention of the sensor. Sounds like he just rewired the control relay for the compressor to be always on instead of being controlled by the computer.

Well that makes since I for some reason just thought me meant he was putting the voltage through the sensor. My fault

Yeah, I may be wrong, but it sounds like he's doing what Robert was suggesting but without the switch. To me, doesn't sound like a good idea.

Lol, at this point in the game, it's hard to keep track of who is doing what.

The oem sensor has 5vdc.
The relay is 12vdc. Two different circuits. I have taken control away from the pcm and the programming to increase cycling time to lower the evaporator temp.

Not exactly the most complicated operation everyone of us do while operating our vehicles.

You don't have to consciously remember to turn on the wipers when it's raining do you?
I don't know how else you would get the wipers on lol. I do wish there was an auto wiper function, FML that would be nice. As I've said from the beginning, here to help brainstorm, but I want to have something permanent and not switchable, like this resistor trick I'm going to try. I'm half shy of lazy as I won't even switch my headlamps from D1S to D2S because morimoto ballasts don't like the auto on/off function of the headlamps. I think I'm about to trade this truck in anyways

Ford does have rain sensing wipers, I think higher platforms like Platinum and Limited has it, dunno for sure but I do know Lincolns have it.

Far as trading in, the grass is always greener yada yada yada... They all have their quirks.

I get the lazy part, I've been putting off organizing my garbage pile, I mean garage for 3 years now LOL.
