Default Reviving the thread

So a quick question about this.

Did the neg pull work forever or did the problem come back?

Did it work for people with aftermarket tires (34 inch tires on my fx4)

I only had to do it once and it stayed fixed. It's been almost 2 years I think.

The whole point of what this fixes is putting different sized tires on the truck. I replaced my 18's with 20's.

This isn't just for fixing the issue with different size tires. My truck and others have had this problem with stock tires.

The point is it should fix nav problems where your position is not accurate, such as offset like mine was.

Out of curiosity, did the dealer change your tires? Did you upgrade or change when you bought it from the dealer?

I know that a lot of the talk on this has been about changing from the stock tires, but I bet if you change the tire size at all, even if it is a size supported by the truck's main computer, that this still happens. I think the NAV and the Truck computer aren't talking to each other. Sure would be nice if the NAV would just ask the truck, "How fast do you think we're going?" and prompt you to reset the NAV calculations if they don't get the same answer.

All this is of course pure speculation on my part. I've never spoken with anyone at Ford knowledgeable about this. I had to explain it several times to my service tech, and in the end I still don't think he believed this fix worked. If someone from Ford has ever stepped forward to confirm any of this I'm unaware. I'd sure love to ask a few follow up questions to someone in the know.

Default Wow guys thanks

This open blog is great I actually had this issue and was hit with a $75 fee for .6 labour for the so called Ford tec to tell me there is nothing wrong with my Nav.
after a hour and a half wait I demanded to have the manager ride along to see the issue. by the end of a the ride he said ah ya we have to hook it up for a diagnostic and that the gps module was probably gone and needs to be replaced. Not my first truck I know that this would have cost me hundreds.
The Negative disconnect worked I left it all night and the next day she was perfect again. not sure why this isn't common knowledge across the board.
Im a firm believer in the ford trucks. it is my third f150 but have nothing good to say about the service when something goes wrong. please don't tell me im wrong and there is nothing wrong and charge me for your stupidity. I know the world can have poor ethics but if this crap continues I will be driving a RAM! I've read about a law suit over this in the US.
Thanks again smart as f]*% civilians keep up the good work!

Since you added larger tires, it requires the tire size to be recalibrated. You can get tuner to do it.

Truck had 650 miles on it, Ford had no fix yet that they know of-

Mods include: bilstein 5100 front cranked all the way up, 1'' lift in rear, and 295 65 20 trail grapplers (not a typo) on stock chrome KR 20's. Discount was suppose to order 295 60 20 and accidentally ordered 65's. They barely rub in reverse on the plastic crap in the front. NO a-arm rubbing whatsoever even at full lock. I was as shocked as you are reading this.. They measure 35.5'' tall. Getting 13.2 mpg when cold and 14.1mpg when warm.
