Default How do I disable the park sensor so I can use all features while in gear?

I have a 2010 F150 Lariat with in dash navigation and I was wondering if anyone has done or knows how to trick it so that it thinks its in Park so that I can watch movies and use all other features of the system without disabling my reverse camera. Thanks.

You want to order a SYNC Lockpick. I don't know if it is available for the 2010 models, but this is what you are wanting.

ah, thanks for the tip. Those things are like 240$! i was rather hoping just to jumper a couple of wires together for free though tricking it into thinking it was in park when its not, haha!

If I started adding jumpers under my dash, my air bags would probably deploy. (And they'll make you ***** yer pants if you aren't expectin it).

Oh sounds like a great idea... there is a reason for it to be the way it is.

haha, that was a good one! I am well aware of why it is why it is, however I dont give a **** and Ill do what I want! Its highly annoying, especially the phone contact list feature, as it only lets you look at 3 pages before it locks you out and the number I need is always on the 4th page. Anywho its not like im gonna be cruising down the road watching a movie and not the road, haha! It would be nice however if it worked while driving for passenger entertainment.

Default SYNC software

these features are disabled for a reason...
Ford doesn't want to get sued for some moron driving distracted causing injury or death, and blaming them (Ford) for allowing them (moron) to drive distracted. The thing is programmed by Microsoft, you should just be grateful that it works at all. Trying to change something may cause it to never work again. Doesn't the voice command for the contact work?

yea, but as i stated before it would be nice to keep passengers entertained. Plus Im not a moron and I know how to drive better than 99% of the population Also there are many more features that would be nice to be able to use at all times, such as pairing phones and adding pics, who the hell has time to stop! haha! Never fear, I will achieve success in this mod even if I have to pay 240$, im pretty sure that its doable way cheaper than that however. I appreciate your concerns for my safety but rest assured it will be no more dangerous than someone talking on the phone, eating a big mac, putting on makeup, messing with the radio, air conditioner, or any of the other millions of things that people do in their cars every day.
