Default Brand new Ford owner, now what?

Just got out of a Cadillac Escalade lemon dilemma. Dealership offered me a 2014 Ford F-150 FX4 with the appearance pkg. Once I opened the door I didn't hesitate to sign the papers.
That being said it isnt a 250 so I'm not going to go crazy with 6" lift etc... My previous lifted truck was back in 2007, I had a brand new Sierra 2500 dura max, 6" BDS lift, flares, banks everything, 20" XD monsters on nittos, t-rex grille, etc..
I want to raise it up a bit, after reading a few of the levelling kit posts my heads spinning to what I should do. I'm from Northern Ontario, Canada and the truck game is strong here. I got the Powerstop Z33 brake Pkg installed last week cause my brakes were due already at 45 000km and I just ordered 20" XD Monster 2"s. Haven't made a tire choice yet either. Mostly on street with moderate off roading options. Mostly -40 degrees and 3 feet of snow, lol. I've got bushwhacker flares on the way getting color matched too.
I want as big as a lift as possible without a full kit, a smoother ride and least amount of complications. Money isn't a big issue just confused between simple levelling kits, coilovers, blocks, etc...
Give me some insight on what my best options are for this truck to look and perform sharp. Was reading the 2014 had different issues than other models and just don't know what to do?

if you want any offroad performance, upgrade to BOSS/Bilsteins/ICON/KING

I gathered that much. Was looking for specifics or experience with 2014's?

The 2014 uses a different front shock than the previous years but most companies made a 2014 variant anyways. If you're using it for mostly street use a Fox 2.0 kit would give you a 2" lift in the front and give a better ride than stock. If you want it to handle amazing offroad, and money isn't an issue then look at Fox, Icon, or King Stage 3+ kits.
