Yes, fold should be pnp for trucks with power adjust mirrors, just add in the powerfold switch (it's like the regular mirror adjustment switch but has the fold feature) to add in power extend is a pain. I can't even remember how i did it lol

I have been doing some looking at the wiring diagrams and it really depend on what you have in your truck from factory.

Mine is a 2013 FX4 full load inc trailer tow package but not the F-150 power scope tow mirrors.

My FX4 came stock with the regular size power fold, power adjst, mem, heat...ext full load mirrors. I have to pull the door panel again confirm a few pins but from what I have seen on the diagrams the F-150 Power Scope trailer tow mirrors are a plug and play for all those same features with no mods required. I need to open up the door again and double check a few more things. I know for sure that the power telescope connector is not there but I don't know yet if there is an option to splice into the existing harness.

Mod's Req'd
-2013 F-150 Power Scope Mirrors have marker lights not puddle lights.
-The marker light is pin 11 on the power scope
-The puddle light is pin 11 on the standard power fold mirrors

For the Power Scope marker light to work you need to change it so that that pin 11 goes to the "parking, rear, and license" circuit or else it will only turn on when you open the doors as if it was a puddle lamp.

I was hoping to just use the existing harness and change where the pin 11 gets it source power after it gets into the cab, BUT I think that the F-150 Power Scope lists the running light as 18ga and the power fold mirror puddle lamp shows it as only a 20ga. So It might mean new wire.

I'm just looking at the power telescope parts now and will post what I find.

Thanks Jeriko ... so it sounds like I just need mirrors and replace mirror switch that has fold option .... That's what I was hoping thanks for the knowledge !!!

The power fold would be the priority with those mirrors hanging out there, but if I was going through the trouble of swapping over, all the functions would have to work.

So as I have had some time to dig more into the electrical diagrams I think there is also another issue.

Again this is based on a 2013 FX4 that had the power fold mirrors already.

It looks like the auto dim driver side view mirror (which is part of the same system that control the rear view mirror auto dim) uses PIN # 2 & #9 to dim the driver side mirror.

The problem will be that Pin #2 & Pin #9 on the PowerScope mirrors are used for the telescope control functions.

I would guess that if you just plug & play the connector you would be sending power to the telescope when the mirrors try to auto dim?

As the telescope will need to be hooked up those pins will need to be disconnected anyway and routed to the telescope switch that will need to be installed, but just plug'n & play'n and not disconnecting them might be an issue.

Again I'm still waiting to confirm some of this once I have the door panel open and can do some testing on the harness.

I'm still unclear on this. SO my 13 Plat with power fold small mirrors would just be a plug and play swap with the more expensive ones from Tasca? Other than power extend, everything else would work fine? Also can someone please confirm the part number because there are so many different models on there.
Thanks
