I have a 2010 Ford F-150 XLT truck. I had to buy and install the fuel pump fuse relication kit due to a melted fuse. I also noticed that the fuel pump diode had melted in the fuse box slot that it sits in. My question is this: is this something that I can just drop in myself, or should I have it taken in to a dealer for repair in case it's another issue related to this? Thank you in advance.

I've never had to deal with the diodes, but they are available online, so I would give it a try myself. If you've done the F27 mod yourself, you should be able to fix/replace a contact, etc, if it melted also.
