Hello everyone
I just joined the site. My question is about the trailer tow mirrors. I bought a 2010 Lariat with those mirrors. I love them but they are not power folding like the Platinum. Is there any way I could make my mirrors power folding?

No,But you could add the platinum/king ranch mirrors.And as far as getting them to fold has been a mystery to me.As i have changed from tow to power fold and can't get them to fold.http://www.f150online.com/forums/200...ld-mirros.html Maybe this will help.Good luck

I searched all over the Houston area for a 2010 Lariat with Power Fold mirrors. No go. It had to be a KR or a Platinum.

And if you got the Max Tow package on the KR or Platinum, you can say bye-bye to the Power Fold mirrors.

That's just the way Ford packages the Power Fold choices for 2010.

If it doesn't have Power Fold to begin with, then there will be some wires missing in the wiring harnesses. That could make for a major mess when trying to add Power Fold.

I believe the 2009 Lariat had Power Fold as an option.

no for 09-10 new style truck, only the KR and Platinum regular mirrors are power fold, no other models. They even dropped the power fold regular mirror option on the new 2010 Harley Davidson model.

but near the end of the last truck model production, like years 07-08, the power fold regular style mirrors were an option on the Lariat, FX4 Luxury package, and the Harley Davidson truck.

I can't believe they did that. I thought the 2010 F-150 HD trim package was "maxed out".

Good thing I didn't get the 2010 F-150 HD to go with my '09 HD Street Bob. No Power Fold makes it a PITA to get the truck in the garage, like with my previous truck (without Power Fold).
