not getting very far with the search so my question is are there options to upgrade to a power folding tow mirror. i assume dealer may be able to do this and if so what are prices. i see a few slick models without powerfold. i park in a parking garage and use powerfold daily so if no options are available i would keep mine and regretfully get those hideous stap on hobs when i tow.

Yes. Got mine from A1 auto I believe and they power fold.

Look in the Vendor forum, 1A Auto has some power fold tow mirrors. I doubt the dealership will install them though as there is some aftermarket wiring required (I think). If you currently have the power fold option, they may have some that are plug and play.

Yeah 1A auto! They are plug and play and VERY easy to install yourself in under 30 minutes. That's BOTH sides.

Question for those of you who have the 1A Auto Power Folding tow mirrors that were UPGRADES to non-power folding XLT mirrors.

Have they improved the power folding option install? I saw an older video of a prototype folding mirror 1A did and it looked like a huge pain in the ***. Anyone have a go by for installing the latest mirrors? I have a XLT with folding mirrors and would like to upgrade, but if it's still the same install as in the old 1A video, I'll pass.
