Default Power fold mirror mod

So I was thinking about a mod and wondering if if could be done...

mamonti, this may be something you could answer?

Someone may have thought of this already but the mod idea is to connect the power fold mirrors to the easy entry/exit seat function so that when you pull the key out the mirrors fold in, put the key in the mirrors fold out...as well as keep the normal folding function with the **** pull.

Possible? How complicated?

Could this be a problem in the colder climates with ice and snow and possibly freezing in the mirror?

I guess it could but I wouldn't have to worry much about that here in GA lol

Love this idea.
I always fold mine in when I turn off the truck, and a lot of the time forget to fold them back out when I take off again later on.
Would be great to have them fold in with the truck turning off (or taking key out of ignition)...and fold back out when the truck starts (or putting the key in ignition)

Just off the top of my head the folding out should be the easy part, the folding in I think would be the tricky part.

Ok Griff,,,,,, I will take a look at it later tonight! Is it doable,,,,,, sure!! My thoughts would also include a deactivate also for the ones that mentioned ice and snow.... but before I go there,,, what ever happened with the auto windows as I know you got the one touch worked out for the rear slider and were to busy to address the windows.

I do have a question as I don't have folding mirrors could you tell me if all folding mirrors also have the memory or can you just have the folding mirrors without the memory??
