I ordered the rough country 570P [w/rear kit & 2.2 shocks] today gonna install on the truck when i go on r&r first week of march. I have bigger than stock tires already 255/75/17 (32.1) the kit says recomended tires size is a 35/12.5/17 dont want todo it yet until I regear from the factory 3.31's to something else. is it going to look funny with the tires I have now? And my wife is 6mo preggo and uses the truck has her dd until im home so dont want to make it to high for her. Thanks . Will post pics when i get home and install it.

I have a question...Should I do an add a leaf instead of the rear blocks that come with the kit or should I do both? Think the block is a 1" that comes with the rc kit. I tow alot. Not alot of weight 12ft enclosed with couple quads but dont want it to have the sagging look when I tow the horse trailer or car hauler. Fat Bobs Garage.com the add a leave kit for $89 or I can get another 1" block to add to the RC block for $69. Orrrrrr...Should I just go with a 3" block and be done with it? So many different ways to go.

The add-a-leaf is the way to go in my opinion. This way it'll keep you off your helper springs and give you a better ride while towing. My .02
Good luck.

What a great forum especially for 2WD. My 2010 SCAB 2WD came with factory mounted Michelin LTX tires and was not a big fan of the road noise. Was told leveling would have helped (was not a believer in the theory at the time). My 2012 SCAB 2WD came with Goodyear Wranglers and they are very quiet. Honestly, first set of Goodyear's I have ever owned and in my late 40's. Don't want to hijack the thread, if someone has an opinion or thought about leveling, make of tire and such, as it pertains to road noise, please share that if you would. Very interested in the info here. Thanks.

QCFX2, after working on taxes all weekend, I have never seen a better use for old paperwork. LOL. Great Job!

Nice... What size was the drop shackle you used? 1 inch or 1 1/2 inches?

I did the same and lowered the back with Belltech 2" shackles. Have a FX2 and wanted to keep it more of the sport look like the truck was meant to be.
Here is a shot before:

And shot after:

The ride is actually better than stock.
