Default PLOW Which one should I get?

Which one is the best for the 09-10 F150? I know they aren't "approved" but who has them? What are the Pros and Cons of each model? Western, Meyer, Fisher, Boss? Interested in 1/2 ton plows or SD. Pictures appreciated.

I doubt you'll find anyone on here. I've never seen someone post about theirs before. Nobody has one probably because we all have IFS suspensions. You'll find a bunch in super duty forums. Solid front axle is a lot better for plowing.

I have a Curtis home pro 3000 on my 2009 FX4, love it, had it for 2 years now, no problems, only do about 5 driveways with it tho.

Check out snowman snowplow if you're worried about the front suspension

I agree, but there are plenty of manufacturers that make plows built for the 1/2 ton front ends. I've searched this forum many times with limited success.

I'll bet alot of F150 owners living in the northern regions would love to have a light duty plow.

arctic manufacturing makes many models that fit your truck. both steel and plastic 7.5 and 8' lengths. these are very strong reliable plows, i have been using them for 26 years.

I used to push snow back in the college days. I swore by boss snowplows. My second favorite would be western. My plow dealer carried only those two brands and their service and quality is what kept me on those brands. I had a friend who plowed with Blizzard which he liked. Boss v plows are my favorite but those are far too heavy for a 150.

I'd advise against plowing with a half ton unless its just a few driveways.
