They can be turned on/off in the dash menu cluster thing...also has a courtesy wipe feature that wipes the windshield after carwash.
Yea, I have not seen that option in my dash menu. Very sad

They are top of the line for a reason and if you can justify to yourself the extra money then that is all that matters. I didn't want to have any regrets, and I don't!
I didnt even want to buy a truck and I ended up with my LL, not disappointed in my decision.

Default price difference

I just went through this exercise. The price difference, while substantial, is not as big as people are making it out to be when you equip them as closely as possible.

In my case the comparison was:
Platinum 4x4, ecoboost, nav, moonroof = $51,610

Lariot Screw 4x4, ecoboost, nav, moonroof, chrome package, plus package, 20" wheels, bucket seats, Trailer Brake Controller = $49,125

I was able to justify the $2,500 increase for the nicer interior, running boards, etc. But everyone needs to do what is right for them.

Picking it up on Thursday!!

You can get heated and cooled seats in a Lariat (heck, it's hard to find one without them) like I stated earlier in this thread. However, it doesn't include the REAR seats, which is what the poster you quoted said. I believe Platinum allows heated rear seats but not cooled

If you include the chrome package (like you did), then you're correct. But if you don't include the chrome package then tack on another $1,500 which makes the $4,000 difference that was originally stated

If I could afford either I would chose a Lariat any day over a Platinum. One of the first things I would do if I had either would be to replace the leather seats with cloth.

Leather seats that are available now are way less quality than 25 years ago.

Reading > me

I think the only vehicles with cooled REAR seats are the Lexus LS460, BMW 7 series LWB and super high end like Rolls Royce and Maybachs.

Hyundai Equus might also but I'm not sure. I'm not a car person, except certain Mustangs

I think I read something about it, I think it was just the seat behind the passenger seat. :S

I had to look and hate to put this thread further off topic but. Sean had the Canadian Ford compare site listed above. I just looked at the US site and it appears that in the US on 2011 F150's when comparing the FX4 and Limited neither offer the rain sensing wipers. The Canadian site only offers this option on the Platinum.

Rain sensing wipers! "Free" health care! WFT! Makes me wonder how they determine what options you get depending on where you live.

Sorry I am done:
