A few updates on the new platty, 55 watt hid for heads an fogs, tinted windows, black heads, tails, mirror, cab lights, and third brake light. I also ordered a superlifts 8" for it which I'll stretch with a 2.5" level I have already. I had the dealer install DVD headrest, ad spray the bedliner. Lovin the new truck!

2011 Platinum with the 6.2 spent her time in the warm North Dakota Winters. Since she is stock I would like to put some winter tires and a good sounding exhaust on .

Looking to do some changes, so I used photoshop. My plan is to find a set of the 15-16 Lariat wheels and have the chrome trim painted on the sides. Overall, I think it looks a lot cleaner.

I had the same idea, borrowed a 2015 Expedition from my dealer to get an idea of what they would like. I like the 2016 Lariat wheels, but the lugs are a little different for those. I had to use my lug nuts to test fit those.

Nice, thanks for the pic. Those look really nice as well. I could do either set. I just need to find a nice set of takeoffs.

Just traded the 2014 for a 2015 Platinum. The new style is growing on me.

So what's your intial impression of the new design, beyond the pleasure of a new truck?

The interior is nicer, in my opinion (though I really liked the 2014) - I prefer the actual physical button for the heated seats and the leather seems to be a higher quality. The locking tailgate was a big reason I traded, can't believe it wasn't in the 2014 or prior. The ride is slightly better and the LED lights seem to provide better lighting. Got the V8 this time (had the Ecoboost), very responsive and love the sound. Was actually looking for the Ecoboost but there are none around, in black anyway. Nothing was wrong with the 2014, it was my first Ford and I really liked it, I was just offered a good deal. Only had the new one for 2 days but really liking it.

I'm not going to lie. I wish i could afford a 15 platinum. They're beautiful trucks. I ended up getting a 12 platinum when I was looking for my f150. If i ever trade this on in I will probably get a 14 limited.
