Just got my Platinum a few weeks ago, already saw some mud. Luckily it rained.

Can anyone suggest a replacement shock for me?
Thanks

I have a question for you other platinum owners. With the additional chrome on the bottom of the body, would black rims look out of place on this truck?

I was wondering if black or chrome would look good on mine

Well a little over a week ago, I dropped out of the "platinum club". I sold my 2012 f150 platinum. However, I did rejoin the club, only this time in a 2016 f350! It's been a great thread, and I will keep up with it and stay on it. Keep building those trucks!

Two great looking trucks...you'll love the 6.7 diesel. Quiet and powerful..my daughter and son in law have a F-250 that we pull the 5th wheel with. Someone who bought the F-150 got a great looking truck and maybe a new F-350 is the only thing that can "trump" it!! Congrats!!

thanks Paw Paw. The 150 was a great build, and a lot of ideas came from the forum. It definitely helped me build it. A close friend bought it, so I see it a lot. But it was time to move on and start something else. I LOVE the new 350! So much power compared to a half ton. It will be lifted of course, in time. I've already acquired a few parts for it. I I've started a build thread too for anybody that wants to follow in the super duty section.

Hi all. I joined the club 8 months ago but only recently found out about this. I'm 20 and love my baby. (As do the females, obviously) she's a 2012 3.5L EB Screw with the short box. To date I've added heavy duty mud flaps, 2" level on the front, bak flip tonneau cover and recently 275/60/20 DuraTracs for the upcoming Canadian winter. Now comes the fun part - accessorizing. I'm not going to be lifting or putting on rubber larger than 33's. Otherwise I'm wide open to suggestions. I'm big on light bars, the HID lights (can I get those on a 2012 platinum?) I've seen some incredible builds here. Very curious to see what you guys would come up with for me. Thanks a lot for having me guys. the Platinum club-image-1910706633.jpg
