How hard and expensive is it to swap out the headlights from a 2010 platty to the 2013+ lights? Any good leads?
Ok, part 1:
The price in the link below includes the harness and shipping. Pretty hard to beat for brand new housings.

The suspension on our trucks is coilover struts, not torsion bars like of years past (pre 2003. 04+ is coils). So you'll need either a leveling spacer that stacks ontop of your coils (less than $200) or new coilovers all together (much more spendy).

Either way, call Alex at F150Lifts.com as he has everything from spacers to coilover replacements. He'll get you set up.

Thanks! Like I said, obviously not a mechanic. Can't learn if you don't ask.

You're welcome.
By the way you'll need at least 2" if not more to clear those 295/65/20 as they are a smidge over 35". You might need a rear block too. How much rake do you have right now?

its not hard to change the headlights. not cheap either. you just have to have an adapter kit. you can find em used on ebay in "like new" shape for a grand, adapter extra. cheapest way would be to find a fellow member on here that will sell you a set. check the classifieds. I got mine from a member for 850 with the adapter, shipped.

Throw a tape at it. You likely have 1.5-2" of rake so getting the height you want to clear that tire size will probably require a rear block swap so that you aren't nose high.

That seems a little high for the lights and harness! I got both new with shipping included for 910.00 2 years ago right after they came out on the 13's!
