iit does not raise the rear end. that sounds like the max tow package which basically allows you to pull the full 11,000 capacity of the truck. i hope this helps

Wanted to report on the road trip in the Platinum. The truck did great, and the mpg's were better than expected. I realize all knows the truck are comfortable, but dayum it was smooth. I did lose the windshield, and received some nasty rock chips heading into Fargo, ND. The insurance company has agreed to fix it under my comprehensive. So, all is good there.
We left Concord, NC headed to Fargo, ND. Left Fargo for Livingston, MT for a trip south through Yellowstone. From there to Salt Lake City, UT back to North Carolina.
Here's the total. The high was 22.4 on I-29 onto Fargo with a good tailwind, and the low was 20.1 across I-94 with heavy head/cross winds. Approx. 85% Hwy/15% city, with speeds that ranged from 55 mph to 80 mph.
Here's the numbers.
And of course here she is in Sentinel Butt, WY.

The downside from what i can see is the fuel economy, i do not seem to be getting what others are on here, I am averaging 12 MPG.
