Plastidipped rims - different?

Thanks for the input!

If you look carefully I intend on putting a little black on the center caps, just so its not a big bright chrome circle in the middle of the rims.

I called probably 8 stores this weekend and everyone was sold out of plasti-dip here in Barrie (north of Toronto) So the project is on hold for a little bit until I can get some...

Have wanted to try this on my 20" alum wheels...easy to peel off if I don't like it?

how many cans for all 4 wheels? 2-3 coats?

I'm in Barrie too, I've noticed the same thing that everyone is always sold out

I dipped my STi stock wheels and it looks really good. The only issue I think would be it is hard to keep clean. Right after you do it they look amazing but a couple months down the road I felt like they always looked dirty. Also doing some brake work I knicked some off and had to respray the whole wheel to fix it. I think plasti dip is good to see if it's something you want permanently and if it is get it powder coated. I'd go with 1 can/wheel. 2-3 coats is too thin. I go a minimum of 5 coats on everything I Plasti Dip.

You will if you just go to Home Depot lol its only like 6 bucks a can
