Question Plastidipped rims - different?

I just bough a new Green Gem F150.
I have a 2" AS leveling kit installed and plan on getting some BFGs or Wranglers before the snow flys.

I'm thinking of dipping my rims but not completely. Has anyone done anything like this before? What do you guys think, look good or no? First image is a stock wheel/tire. Second is photoshopped of what I'm thinking.

I think those wheels look absolutely horrible in stock form, but they actually look decent like that. I say definitely give it a shot. after all, it's just plastidip - if you don't like it, peel it off and it's like nothing ever happened.

i was playing around w/my XLT rims as well but would go a matte black... i wonder how it would look if you also pulled off the chrome plastic center caps and used black lug nuts?

however, i kind of remember there being an exposed center hub last time i removed the caps?

rims designed with center caps don't look right without them...there's a sharp circular indent in the center...just looks odd. and nearly all if not all vehicles have an exposed axle nut, these trucks no less.

looks good OP, but if I were to do such a design, I'd extend the dip into the center caps, where they have a similar pattern as around the edge of the wheel. food for thought.
