Plasti dip doesn't stand up much.

Mine still look good. I want to redo my grill now, but with the cold temps here I am pretty much stuck with it. I have a heater in my garage, but there would be practically no ventilation.

I've redone mine mainly because they're just hard to keep clean. I drive a lot so unless bug guts are removed quickly, they are really hard to remove from pd. That and I've had a few strikes from tree limbs...they've held up well but did tear once.

I've smacked mirror pretty good to the point where it folded in some and the PD on the reflector is fine.
I had PD'd wheels for a bit and they survived pressure washers, etc... It was a major PITA to remove, if applied correctly its quite durable.

So, basically, you're wrong.
Don't you have a catch can thread to put some misleading info in or something?

I agree when my mirror reflectors were plasti dipped they had taken lots of abuse with branches and held up pretty darn good.

I plasti dip my ATV yearly to camouflage colors. Yearly or more often. It comes off perty easy in the timber.. Just me I guess notices how it tends to peal like rubber strips of tape. That's not a bad thing for Camouflaging having all that stringy tape look hanging around on it blending in with all the timber hanging around it.
I use ShowRoomNew on my black parts of the truck and Golf Carts.

It's like Carbon Black for automotive plastic. U just rub it in wearing nitryl gloves.

Turned out amazing. Just cleaned it and tape well, keeping in mind the plati dip needs a gap to thin out over so it doesn't pull up with the tape.
You can not do a good paint line with this stuff. I was bummed to realize this.
Did you use the cans or did you use a gun to paint it?

You can do clean paint lines to the quoted image above.
You have to peel tape up when it's wet
