I know black fades really bad. When I got my truck I didn't know much,so I dipped my tails to see how'd they look, faded out in weeks. I don't dip anything except to see how it will look before painting. For wheels powder coat is the way to go

I have never heard of anyone using Glossifier having issues. I've used it plenty of times with no ill effects...

I've seen a few people with chipping rims on here and a few in the area I live in. I saw a guy in a Canadian Tire parking lot trying to use WD-40 to peel it off his rims. He said he used the glossifier and that it would chip off in small parts and from what I've seen it starts to chip around the perimeter of the rim.
Also I've seen guys do their grilles and have them chip fairly easily.
I guess my biggest problem with the glossifier is that it makes the plastidip hard and brittle. And one of the main reasons why I use plastidip is that's malleable and peels off if I don't like it anymore.
Just my 2 cents tho...

Can't find anything on the net about it and I haven't experienced it myself. I've used it quite a bit for stuff. Maybe it's the temperatures in Canada having an affect??

That could very well be. I've noticed it a lot this spring so you may be into something.
