Hmmm... I think I might forgo shaking, microwaving, blender and toaster and try a different route. I'm going to apply a really thin coat, then dry it with a blowtorch. That should make it nice and glossy as well as making it easy to remove.

When everyone does their wheels do you take them off or leave them on?

Leave them on. Make sure you get some in your brakes too!

I want to plasti dip my F150 emblems. How can i tape off the center of the 0. I see some guys just go over it but a few have kept it clean of plasti dip. What should i do to keep it out of the center of the 0.

Also i thought about trying the plasti dip smoked color on my tailights. Anybody try this yet?

Just get a toothpick and you can get the 0 after you dip it. And don't use the smoke on tails or heads, it makes them look 50 years old and faded in the sun!

Ok thanks for the tip on the tailights. I think i'll just order the FX4/Raptor style tailights and put them in my STX.

I used the vht nigtshade for my tails. Looks good IMO. I wouldn't plastidip.. $11 for smoked tails.. Ill take it

Ill get better pics once i can clean the truck... Been crappy out last week or so. Despite what people say about nightshade.. I put 2 coats on, its dark, and you can see my lights fine. Reverse lights a little dim...

This is a few pics of my tail lights night shaded and then you can see the emblems with the o removed using the toothpick method. You can see what the taillights look like with the breaks on. Also you can see before and after on the back bumper
