Default Help with handsfree phone problem

I have a 2014 with the 2" screen a d sync. Everything is stock except ffor the speakers. My bt had been working great. All of a sudden yesterdzy,, right in the middle of a co versation, I couldnt hear anything. S tilll said connected and all. So I hit the button on my phone and took it off of bt speaker and all is fine. Sync sees my phone. Everything worrks great right up to dialing. Can use voice prompts, it accesses my address book, dials the number. You can hear all of the prompts up to then, but when it says dialing, there is no sound from then on unless I take it off of headset on my phone and just talk on the phone. Any ideas?

I did try deleting the pnone and re pairing it, but it does the same thing. I will have to try it in my wifes car today to see if it is the phone or the truck.

Thanks

May be funny but did you turn the volume ****?

Try turning it up ONLY while you're calling.

Volume is fine. And it stopped right in the middle of a conversation that was working fine. But thanks for the thought.

Thanks for the thought. The volume is up. Tried that right off, even though it stopped mid co versation.

Hi Soiling2003,

I recommend trying a master reset: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-...ter-reset.html Let me know if this works!

Soling - this happened to me recently. Everything looks normal, phone connects, neither party hears anything. Mine worked fine for 2 years, and as far as I can tell, the issue started a few weeks ago after the dealer updated battery management software (trying to fix the Battery Saver issue).

I did a Sync master reset, and then paired my phone again - no change.

I have an appointment Friday with the dealer, since mine is under warranty. When I told the service adviser that I have never updated the Sync software, he said that they will do that first and see if it fixes.
