My question on the vinyl is how hard would it be to cut dead-straight lines on the top and bottom across the gate? There's nothing there to tuck the edges into.

Who's cutting it? You with scissors or a razor, or a pro with a vinyl cutter?

I have a friend with a vinyl shop so I guess I have no conception of what big city vinyl shops charge the average customer.
