Yup. It's still not ideal because of the way the console opens. Just make sure you put your registration and insurance somewhere else. You don't want to have to open that at a traffic stop.

In my 03 Chevy I took a Blackhawk Serpa holster and installed it in the center console. 3 screws hold on the belt paddle and if you remove them, the holster can be easily mounted to a flat surface. You popped the center console open and the gun was upright and easily accessible.

I've been thinking about getting the mount for my Blackhawk. I've just been too lazy and cheap. I went from and XLT with the HUGE center console to the smaller FX console so I wasn't sure if I wanted to mount it there and lose room.
