I wasn't sure if he was just wanting a place to transport his firearm, or if he's looking to be ready to shoot a car jacker at any moment's notice.

And its easier to just get out of the car and call your insurance company

Not when my kids are buckled in the back. Double tap .45 to the head is much easier and a few bucks at the quarter car wash to clean off the brain matter

These are really nice and convenient. I had Wet Okole seat covers on my Tacoma that had a sewn in gun pocket and it worked great. Very easy access yet fairly well hidden. You could draw without even moving your torso. If I don't get Wet Okole's for the F150, this is what I'm gonna do.

If your responsible, have a carry permit and or have taken firearm classes their should be no issues on having your constitutional right to pack; since you know when , where, and why to use it. Out here in AZ, you can strap it to your side and walk around town all day.

This^. I collect guns, usually there's 3 or 4 at all times where I am. Not because I'm that paranoid but because I practice A lot! They all have their purposes and specific uses. But there's no way anyone could finish that sentence while pointing a gun at me before they're rattled. I carry an FN 5.7, or FNX9 majority of the time. Practice a lot fellas. Know your rights and your laws. In Texas you don't have to have a CHL to carry a handgun inside a vehicle you're operating, but it must be concealed. Throw a tshirt or towel on it, whatever. The holsters under the steering wheel where you can actually see the pistol, are not legal in Texas. I filed for an FFL a few months back, still waiting for a response from the ATF. I carry explosives all day everyday, yet it takes longer to pass for an FFL... Go figure. I have a pistol in one of my bags because I travel. Usually one in between the seat and my fold down console in the pistol case half unzipped but still able to grab it and it's unviewable. There's been many times I have seen someone headed to my drivers window and the gun was already pointed at them before they got 3 feet away.

Same here in Ohio. Cracks me up when people ask where they should "hide" their firearm. Lol
