I recently bought a 2014 f150 lariat crew cab 4x4., it has 275/55/20 Pirelli scorpions, the left front I noticed has a long row of wheel weights on it. It has 26, .25 oz weights on it... I think it is a little much !!... Probably a bad tire or bent wheel.... Also I'm getting a little brake pulsation from it also... The truck only has 5,700 miles on it... Is all this covered by the warranty ??

They balance out like crap most of the time. Your brake pulsation is your rotors. If you f don't have a vibration at 60mph or a shimmy I wouldn't worry about it

Yes it does have a little vibration when driving and pulsation when brakes are applied Are these items covered by the 12/12 warranty ?

Maybe a ford rep can answer my questions ??

Yes it should be covered. Take it to the dealer you purchased it from and they should fix you up.

I got my rotors turned for free on mine when it started pulsing when I hit the brakes.

If it's vibrating when going down the road, see if they will swap a tire to test. 26 weights is an obnoxious amount to balance a tire.

i've never seen someone take the time to put more than 3 weights on without spinning the tire on the rim and starting over. some tires just weren't meant to be on some rims, my dealer swap a tire for me no problem when i had a vibration.

If your having issues with balancing your tires I recommend what all the off-road tires are using--balancing beads instead of weights.

While the beads are pretty neat, tires and rims at the stock or near stock size should be able to balance conventionally. Beads should be a last resort for this.
