Have a 2014 ecoboost FX4. Picked up a 28ft camper trailer a couple weeks ago. All I can say is WOW! The Eco is a beast! The back had quite a bit of sag, even with the distribution bars on the trailer. Installed airbags this week and towing again this weekend. Just wondering if anybody is running airbags? What pressure shoul I be starting at, to roughly get a level truck? Here's a few pics. For you guys with eco's who care, check out the mileage I got with towing...

I do.
First, you need to make sure you have your WDH adjusted correctly. Go to rv.net, the travel trailer section and find the sticky on how to adjust it correctly.
I run my bags with enough pressure to raise the back to stock ride height. Some don't raise it that much. Never raise it higher than stock ride height. Tongue weight affects how many psi to put in the bags.
Also, remember that your WDH might need to be adjusted a bit more after airing the bags up.

So there's not really a quicker way? You have to hook your trailer to get an idea. The trailer is I. Storage an I want to head out straight from there..
Guess that's not going to happen.. Lol

Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 Ultimate air bag suspension with built in bump stops! Got mine through Stage 3.
I usually run 40-45# when pulling my Springdale TT 33' long and 8k+
Absolutely love this system. You can run 0 air pressure when not towing if you like. I run 15-20#'s when not pulling....

I use the Firestone ride rite, I mounted a compressor under the back seat for pressure. I usually ride around unloaded with 8-10 psi in them (they require a 5psi min) because I find they bottom out on large bumps in the road like bridge on ramps. Anyone else bottom out the bags?

With the bags you can just hook and go....but the WDH helps keep the trailer from wondering and the truck rearend from wagging.

Pressure in the bag will vary depending on the diameter of the bag. A 3" bag at 50 would be like a 4" at 35, rough numbers but you get the idea that you can't always compare across brands. 50# is a lot. But easier to let it out than add when you don't have an air source.
