Default Pirelli Scorpion ATR to buy

I know this sounds crazy but what is a typical price for a complete set of Pirelli Scorpion ATR P275/55/R20 with less than 5000 miles? I am probably going to trade in my truck next year and know I will probably have to put a set of tires on it by then. Was looking at just putting stock back on it since it's a trade (otherwise if I was keeping the truck would get different tires as they do suck). I know guys are getting rid of these tires so thought I could get them on the cheap. Saw one guy here selling them for $500 but I would have to drive 16 hours round trip.

Thoughts?

I sold mine with 15,000 miles on them for $250. There's tons locally for around the $300 range.

I just know that dealers will always look for anything to knock the trade-in value down. If they see the tires need replacing, there goes an easy $1k. They aren't going to care what kind of tire is on it as long as it has tread and a bonus if it is the OEM ones. No reason to give the person who buys it a set of better replacements. I was thinking I could get the OEM tires cheap and it will help out on the trade-in even if I have to buy them a year in advance....if the price is right that is....

Mine had just over 7K on them and I think there was 9/32s left on them. I got $425 off craigslist the day after I posted them.
