Default To Pin Stripe or not to Pin Stripe

When I purchased my 99 F150 regular cab short bed it seemed to be missing something. I added a tan pin stripe on the sides to match the interior and that just set it off. Looked good. Now that I have my 2011 F150 regular cab short bed I'm wondering if I should do the same thing. It's candy red with beige interior. I'm not sure if it will look right with the lines of the truck. Also I have the tan 4X4 on the bed which I didn't have on the 99. What should I do??? Pin stripe? Pin stripe and remove the 4X4? Or just not do anything. Any pics of pin stripes and ideas?

Pin stripes always look classy if you ask me, but the 4x4 logo has always been tacky.

I love pinstripes on certain trucks. I'm going to do pinstripes however I'm taking a different approach. I've had pinstripers (painted on) do thing I really didn't like. What I did is purchased regular tape and layed out my own design. I'm on the 4th design in the last 6 weeks. I have 2 thoughts on this. When I find the one I really like I'll have it painted or I might keep it as a tape stripe and I can change design anytime I want.

This is how the current stripe starts.

My son is in the Air Force and works with F-16's

I may have to get the pin stripe as well. The sides seem a little naked without something there. It looks really good on your trucks!
