Default Pics of my STX with a new chrome XLT grille

Ok, so I bought a slightly used chrome XLT grille from a forum member earlier this week and installed it on my '09 STX yesterday. The install was fairly easy and straight forward. Any "shade-tree" mechanic with a ratchet set can do the swop in 20-30 mins. I cleaned my truck up very nicely today and got some pics with my other toy...

Next mods will probably be a cat back exhaust and air box.

The grill looks really good on your color. Good looking rides, man. A red corvette - talk about a cop magnet - looks great though.

Yea, it takes "*****" for a GM/Corvette guy to buy a Ford truck. But it's hard to deny the build quality of the F150. Besides; they are both American...

BTW, for anyone thinking of doing a F150 grille swop. Here is a pic of my truck without the grille and it shows some reference points. The yellow arrows show the mounting points for screws and the red arrows indicate pressure clip mounting points. Be careful prying on those pressure clips because they are made of plastic and may snap off on you. As you can see all the screws and mounting hardware are on the grille itself.

edit: sorry, though you were talking about swopping grilles. Think I'll keep the painted bumper for now...

AMEN! While I'm not overly pleased with GM's recent actions they are the only American manufacturer left to keep Ford company. Hell, GM may be more American than even Ford now because GM is after all government owned!

Great looking rides man..

Meh...Government Motors (GM) has a long ways to go before they get independant again.
