Picked up my new truck today!!
Picked up my new truck from the dealer today! I ordered it from him on Monday, 12 Oct; he submitted the order to Ford on Wed, 14 Oct; PigR on the board told me that the build date was 23 Oct (thanks!!); it was delivered to the dealer yesterday 30 Oct and I picked it up today. 19 days from initial order to the truck sitting in my driveway! Amazing!! Espececially since he said it would be five weeks at least.
OK, here it is - 2010 Lariat Plus Supercrew 4x2, 6.5' bed, dark blue pearl, 3.73 rear end, max trailer towing package, man step, side bed steps, captains chairs, navigation system, running boards and trailer mirrors.
MSRP was $42,755 and I got it for $35,285, so I got it for 17.5% below MSRP, which I feel was a decent deal. The dealer threw in a bedliner for free ($150 or so ??). Plus $1744 tax, tag, title and documentation fees, but at least the sales tax is deductible this year.
If it's not raining, will take some pictures tomorrow and post.

Wow, that's great...so many new trucks this month !! 
And yes, that is a good deal in my opinion, even though some here will tell you that you should have negotiated 25% off of Monroney !!
I am also amazed at how quick the order to build to delivery time was !!
The last time I had one built, it took every bit of six weeks before I saw the truck.

Congrats! Ordered mine Oct 9th - still waiting. Was supposed to be built last week, but I don't know if that happened or not. Do you know if yours was built at the Dearborn Truck or Kansas City plants?

wow i cannot believe how fast you were able to get it. I ordered mine the second week of july and still havent seen it. Its supossed to be here tomorrow but i will believe it when i see it so thats 17 weeks, plus since september 1st they told me "it will be here in 2 weeks", "it will be here in 2 weeks", "it will be here in 2 weeks"........
