oldguy1946 - I had to go into the service area and show the tech how to activate mine when the service manager came into the waiting area and said none of their techs knew how to do it. ...
I can understand not knowing everything, but not knowing the resource to go to get technical information to service a customer!!!!!

In their defense, some of the manufacturers just throw new teckno tools at the service guys and expect them to know. For instance, where I work we were sent a nice new "honda" tablet to work on the quads, bikes and boat stuff. It came as a surprise and included a small booklet of 40 pages on set up and charging the battery
No help from Honda Canada what so ever... just SURPRISE! You should know how to use it!
I'm not saying that's how Ford does it... but some techs are lambs thrown to the lions.
Oh... It's been four weeks and I have only used that tablet once... and I was trying to waste time.
