Painted factory grill on 2013-2014 FX4?

Has anyone done it? If so, is it possible to post pics. I would like to get it done but would like to see how it would look on the new grill style.

Does anyone know if it's doable with vinyl or it has to be paint? I called a few shops and they said that the vinyl doesn't stick well to the plastic.

I wouldn't do it. I tried painting my lower grille and thought it looked like crap.

Paint what? The grille insert? The surround? Either way, numerous people have done it

Paint the horizontal lines and the two vertical lines at each end. I seen some 2009 to 2012 grills painted but no 2013 and up.

Theres a member with a silver fx2 with a painted c clamp grill, looks decent. Personally would want a lariat/kr 3 bar grille or stx sport grille
