Default People with N-Fab step bars

How do u like them? I'm thinking of buying a pair. Are there any advantages or disadvantages compared to other steps that u have experienced? To the people who have Amp power boards, please don't tell me to save up and buy a set. Although I would love them, I just can't spend that much on steps

I have them and love them. Very sturdy and durable. What look are you going for? I think they make trucks look a little more "off road", rugged.

Ya that's the look i'm going for. How wide are the actual steps?

Hey buddy, I have them too. I like them them, but wish I had money for amps. They r solid as a rock. Look really good, but, they r slippery as hell when wet. And the step is so close only the ball of foot can use step, and u really can't use the step to get out of the truck. U have to slide out. But they still good steps. I would recommend, if u r kinda short, and have bigger tires, get the set that have the third step for bed, bc I have to get into truck to access anything against cab. Lol.

Sharp looking truck man!

Not trying to hijack OP, but I've also been considering these steps and have a couple concerns. I've seen quite a few complaints about them being slick and the actual steps not being wide enough to really use adequately. I noticed the part about not using them to get out...which is a big part of why I'd (well, my wife) want them......she currently just jumps out haha. My last truck's leather got a good bit of wear on the driver side from sliding in and out of the seat, so I want to limit/eliminate that issue.

Also, do these N-fabs help much with deflecting rocks/debris? That would be a huge plus!

Thanks for sharing that u can't step on them to get out. The main reason I'm getting them (besides the fact that they look badass lol) is so people don't slide in and out and wear out the cloth on the seats. And since I live in Oregon, where it's wet 3/4 of the year, maybe I should look at other options also

Ive been looking at getting the same ones also! Now i think when i went to price these out they asked if i wanted textured or not. I wonder if that would add to grip or not?

Haha that's exactly why I want them too....to keep people from sliding across the seats (leather though) and they look awesome.

I've seen some people add grip tape to the surface of the steps and that seems to help. The only problem though is if you can't really use them to get OUT, then you slide your pants across the steps and get nasty with dirt/debris, or slide your bare leg across grip-taped steps which also doesn't end well lol
