Paint or Chrome?
Has anybody replaced their painted bumpers with chrome? How do you like the looks? My painted front bumper has endured too many rock chips. I went to the car wash and noticed a rust spot about the size of a nickel. I will not tolerate rust on any vehicle, a major eye sore. I see you can buy bumpers off the Internet, painted black or chrome. Any advice or opinions are welcomed. Thanks.

Beer, Boats, and Trucks.
I didn't replace mine with chrome, but my chrome package has been on since day 1 and has no chips or rust spots (other than where I accidentally put a weld mark on the bumper)

I think paint looks better but I've heard from guys that have had both the paint and the chrome that the chrome seems to hold up better to the elements for them (rock chips, rust etc)

I'm in with the PTM look but their is nothing wrong with chrome either, all comes down to personal taste. I will say with PTM front bumper espically you need to be prepared to deal with a little bit of road rash over time, nothing major on mine but the small spots from loose gravel, etc. do accumulate.
