Default Paint

I was just wondering what other 2009 F150 owners thought of the quailty of their truck's paint, mine is the worst quailty for a new truck numerous dirt or weld splats under the clearcoat.

overall mines good, Ive noticed in the jambs some light spots, and in the tailgate jamb its some very light spots. Still not that bad. Oh yea and under the hood you can see the primer in alot of spots.

I too have some light spots in inconspicious areas, but overall the paint is better then expected. In fact, better then my 06 IS350, which I traded in.

Mine looks great it's smooth with no swirl marks and has a very deep look to it. I am very impressed with the paint on this truck which is of a higher quality than my previous 05' F150.

Only smooth paint is on my truck. OP, you're not the only one mentioning dirt and weld splats under the paint.

Where was your truck assembled?

Man that sucks, I have the stone green metallic with the tan bottom, sexiest paint I have every seen. Sparkles nicely in the sun.
