Default Out with the Xtang, on with a Century Cap

My Xtang worked well, but my needs and mission has changed. The quality of the Century Royal cap on my Red Candy 2011 Scab fit well and matched the color beautifully. A little sloppy on a few items like the details on the 'free' interior liner and a whistling, sliding cap window (to cab), but I'm very happy with it. I'll be taking it back to the dealer for those details next week. Cost $1730

Looks good. Some lovem, some hatem. Im indifferent, as ive had both tonneaus and caps. They both have their uses, but caps are a pain if you ever want it off for a day. That said, i use my trailer for most heavy or large items...

Just curious if you still have this cap and how you're feeling about it 18 months later. I'm trying to decide between a $3,330 Snugtop Super Sport and a $2,350 Century, and I have to say the $1,000 difference has me very interested in the Century Royal (These are the prices I'm being quoted for the cap with sliding/fold down front window, electric lock, and Thule or Yakima rack system, tax and install). Thanks!

Default Still a nice cap

SBH20man-The cap was quite nice, never any problems. I eventually put a Yakima Roof Rack(non-adjustable/fixed) to carry a 12 ft row boat. However, in Nov, 2015, I sadly traded it for a new F150. It had 182,000 highway miles on it, still beautiful (it's a great color!), no problems, but I couldn't pass up the deal offered me. The XTang is now on the 2015, and fits fine, until I decide on if-or-when I get a cap. PS-Century is owned by Leer.
