Our "Old" F 150 continues to outsell both Chevy and GMC combined!!
Even though GM is combining all pickup sales (including the old model they are blowing out with huge rebates)....they still sold 20% fewer trucks than Ford did with their current truck that has been on the market since 2009.
GM....to quote a phrase.......
You Can't Touch This!!!!
The recently redesigned Silverado and Sierra pickups posted remarkably similar numbers to last month and continue to increase over last year. GM does not delineate sales between the redesigned 2014 models and 2013 models and it is likely that GM is continuing its push to clear out inventory of 2013 models. Even with the two trucks combined, though, the 59,827 Chevrolet/GMC twins sold can’t touch the Ford F-Series’ June sales of 68,009.

Man i wish i took a screen shoot of the post i saw last week on FB. One of my friends "liked" GMC's page, so it came up in my news feed. I clicked on the comments, and had a great time laughing at some of them. One guy said something like,
"Ford has never outsold GMC/Chevy, if you believe that you are drinking the Ford kool aid. Sure maybe Ford outsold Chevy or GMC, but never both combined. Its a Ford marketing gimmick"
I need to find it

If I wanted a huge schnoz on my truck, I'd get a super duty. PLEASE don't do this to our F-150!!!!

Someone is drinking something that is confusing them, that's for sure.....wait until Ford blows them ALL away with the next model. I just hope that Ford does not screw it up with the MASSIVE grill I've seen on a few renderings.......message to the stylists....

My local Chevy dealer has only three 2014 Silverado on the lot, thus the old F150 is not really competing with the new Chevy yet... Besides, it is not like the 2009 F150 was frozen in time, various improvements over the years. A simple example is HID wasn't available in 2009, but now it is.

The front-end change is one of the reasons for me not buying the 2014 Silverado. When a new truck is introduced and the first stated features are bold look, fist in the wind... I'll pass. I'm more interested in the internals, features, transmission, chassis, and not how they reduced the visibility of the driver for empty air under the hood.
